The morning press conferences sessions started with the presentation of APRICOT STONE short film competition programme. Aram Shahbazyan and Lusine Sargsyan who are among the coordinators of the programme together with the authors of some of the films presented in the programme (those who attended the festival- Martin Guggisberg, Mario Gareffo, Lukazs Ostalski, Andranik Harutyunyan, Cezary Stolecki more precisely).    

 

The most significant event of the day was held at Mother See of Holy Edjmiatsin where His Holliness Catholicos of All Armenians granted the “Let Ther Be Light” Award of the Armenian Apostolic Church to Artavazd Peleshian. The event was attended by the festival guests and management.

 

The Jos Stelling had a meeting with everyone interested later in the afternoon. The opening of Georginan film programme took place at Moscow Cinema with the screening of Georgi Danelia’s “Mimino” comedy.

Later in the evening the Retrospective programme of Pietro Marcello’s films was open with the screening of his “The Silence of Peleshian” followed by a Q&A session with Marcello himself.
