ARMENIAN FILM AT MOSCOW IFF

Moscow 36th International Film Festival that is scheduled to be held on June 19-28, has announced its film programme for this year. And we are happy to announce that an Armenian documentary- Hayk. Escape, the first part of Endless Escape, Eternal Return by Harutyun Khachatryan has been selected for the “Russian Trace” official programme. The screening of the documentary in the frameworks of Moscow IFF is thus the Russian premiere of the documentary. It should be noted, by the way, that the major part of the shootings has been made in different cities of Russia, including Moscow.

Endless Escape, Eternal Return documentary film series is depicting the most painful problem of contemporary Armenia- the migration. Hayk. Escape presents materials filmed starting from the 1980s up to our days.

The world premiere of Endless Escape, Eternal Return took place at “Vision du Reel” international documentary film festival of Nyon, and has been screed in the frameworks of special programmes of Cannes IFF this year.

The film has been granted with grand prix of “Hayak” national film award in the nominations of Best Documentary and Best Director.
