Beso Solomanashvili

Beso Solomanashvili (born 1964, Georgia)

In 1986, Beso Solomanashvili graduated from Georgian State Polytechnic Institute, at the same time he studied in a Documentary Film Directing College. In 1996, he graduated from  Georgian State Theatre & Film Institute, the  Department of Feature Film Direction (Giorgi Shengelaya’s studio). During 1993-94, the war in Abkhazia he worked as an assistant director on drama-documentary The Graveyard of Dreams by Giorgi Khaindrava. In  1998-2000, Beso Solomanashvili  has worked as a film director at Georgian TV-film Company. Since 2010 till now, he is a chief director at Imedi TV Company. In 1998-11, he published short stories books - The Smugglers, Zammora, London-Zuzumbo. In 2008, Solomanashvili became a co-founder of the Solosolo Company. Together with scriptwriter Irakli Solomanashvili he works on script development and produces documentary and feature films.
