GOLDEN APRICOT Yerevan 11th International Film Festival carries on and the third day started with the already traditional press conferences. The world famous Israeli filmmaker Amos Gitai had a meeting with the filmmakers. Later Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, the author of “I Am Not Him” feature film which is inlcuded in the main competition programme presented his film for the journalists and answered to the burning questions. The press conferences agenda was concluded by the presentation of “Cinema for Social Change” programme. The presentation was held by Pavel Potorochin, Richard Pena, Adam Mikhnik and Susanna Harutyunyan. The Cinema for Social Change programme was opened later during the day with the screening of 80 Million.

The Master Class sessions of Jia Zhangke as well as Ken Davidian’s meeting at the TUMO centre was held.

The evening of the day was celebrated by the opening of Amos Gitai’s Retrospecive Programme where the world famous filmmaker himself was present. The screening of his Ana Arabia was preceeded by the Parajanov Thaler Award granting by the Festival management to Amos Gitai.
