The second day of the festival also started with the press conference. The press was presented with the Kim Dong-ho's End of Winter which is competing in the feature competition. Robert Guédiguian andAriane Ascaride also met the journalists.

One of the memorable events of the day was the press cocktail, organized by the “Golden Apricot’s” long- time partner Ararat Armenian brandy.

During the event, parthners were awarded with the “Mantashian knight” award. GOLDEN APRICOT’s loyal journalist, Marrietta Makaryan was also awarded with a silver medal.

During the second half of the day tributes were made to celebrate Henrik Malyan’s 90th and Levon Atoyan’s 85th anniversaries. To honor the Armenian film master’s there was a screening of their films, Avdo’s Car and A peice of the Sky.

With the presence of GOLDEN APRICOT's honorary guest Ornella Muti, Swann in love, a film by the famous German director Volker Schlöndorff was premiered.

After the premiere was the opening of the New French Cinema program. The program will present the latest and best French films. The program opened with the screening of Emmanuel Mouret's “Caprice”, where the producer Fredrick Nidermayer was present.

Later on, during the same program “Not Here to be Loved” by Stephane Brize was screened . The lead actor of the film, Patrick Chesnais attended the screening.
