Aleksandr Kott

From 1994 to 2000, Alexandr Kott studied in the Gerasimov State Institute of Cinematography also known as VGIK under the apprenticeship of Russian film director Vladimir Khotinenko. In 1997, Kott successfully completed the master-class of Andrzej Wajda in Krakow. Also in 1997, Alexandr Kott directed the film Journey and a short film Rope (1998) both commissioned by French TV channel ARTE. Alexandr Kott currently lives in Moscow.
