Taras Tkachenko

Taras Tkachenko (born 1975)

A graduate from the Department of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Department of Film and Television of  Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary  University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, where he also taught the history of screenwriting. In 2001-2006, Tkachenko worked as director at the National Dovzhenko Film Studios. He won Grand Prix of the FF "On the Waves of Enchanted Desna" and got the Diploma with honors at «On The Lake» FF, Toronto. Taras Shevchebko is a member of the National  Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
