Ahmad Reza Motamedi

Ahmad Reza Motamedi (born 1961, Tehran, Iran)
Ahmad Reza Motamedi, Ph.D, is a graduate of Western philosophy and Philosophy of Art. A member of IRIBU Faculty Board and an essayist. Motamedi began his career in the realm of books and the press. Working on philosophical cinema in TV programs, he has been also active as a screenwriter in Iranian films. His third venture as a filmmaker, The Insane Flew Away, was the winner of top award in the Fajr IFF. In 2006 and 2010, Motamedi joined the international jury of spiritual cinema in Fajr FF.
