Rafael Kotanjyan (Armenia)
Born in 1942 in Tbilisi. He graduated from the Acting Department of the Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre in Yerevan. He has received certificates from Moscow as a Television Director. He is an actor with the Hrachya Khaplanyan Drama theatre and has received a variety of awards as an actor. In 2002 he was awarded the Movses Khoranatsi award and in 2003 he was awarded the Golden Cultural Medal. He has starred in several Russian and Ukrainian films.

Levon Abrahamyan (Armenia)
Born in 1947, in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan State University. In 1978 he completed his post graduate studies of the Institute of Ethnography of the Soviet Union Academy of Science. In the same year, he finished his thesis and became a Doctor of Science in the Institute of Ethnography of the Armenian Academy of Scence where he is currently employed. Since 1990, he has lectured at Yerevan University, University of California at Berkeley and Columbia University.

Shahin Bazil (Iran)
Born in 1952 in Tehran. Studied architecture at The National University of Iran, and English translation at Azad University of Tehran. He was a film and program acquisitions assistant in the Farabi Cinema Foundation from 1990 to 2003; was also active in establishing Iran's TV Program Providing Office and handled acquisitions from 1994 to 1997; collaborated with international film festivals. He also worked with the 1st International Oil Festival in charge of foreign films held in 2003. He started the first attempts of buying movie rights for Iran via private sector under the company name Visual Media Iran Acquisition Center from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, he joined, the privately held, Century 21 Visual Media Company and is currently a head of acquisitions in the film business.

Garegin Zakoyan (Armenia)
Born in 1947 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan State University Philology Department with a degree in Russian language and literature. In 1978, he received his Master's degree at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinema. From 1991 to1998 he was the president of the Armenian National Cinemateque and in 1998 he became vice-president. He is a memeber of the Armenian Association of Film Critics and Cinema Journalists and SACD. He has published articles and books. In 1982, he began writing scripts for documentary films and in 1996 he became a director. He has organized many film festivals and premieres. In 2004, he was the Jury president of the Isfahan International Film Festival.

Jean - Pierre Nshanian (USA/Armenia)
Born on July 25, 1953. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre in Yerevan. From 1976 to 1980, he worked at the G. Soundugyan Theatre. In 1980, he immigrated to America, and founded the Vartan Adjemyan Teatre, where he directed and acted in 25 plays. He acted in Armenian films, Symphony of Silence, Herostrat, Jano and American films, Be Cool, Lord of War, Ayese.

David Muradyan (Armenia)
Born in 1951 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan State University, Department of Linguistics. He teaches the history of cinema and screenwriting at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Yerevan. Since 1969, he has published 7 books, many articles, and has created short and documentary films. For many years, he was the host of cinematography television shows. His works have been translated into Russian, Ukrainian, German, and other languages. In 2003, he received an award for his play Our Old Piano. Presently, he is the vice-president of the Writer's Union of Armenia.
