Marco Gianfreda

Marco Gianfreda (born 1974, Rome)
In 2001 he graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome, department of Theoretic Philosophy, with an essay on Hegel. From 1998 to 2003 he attended some of the best Italian schools of creative writing and screenplay. In 2006 he wrote the script of Tana libera tutti short film, that won more than 40 awards and was nominated for David of Donatello, as the best Italian Short. In 2009 he wrote and directed Io parlo!, selected by more than 45 international film festivals. He represented Italy at “Kodak European Showcase for New Talents” in Clermont-Ferrand Short FF, 2010. Pizzangrillo is his new short film.
