Bruno Deville

Bruno Deville (born 1976)
After graduating in visual arts from the Brussels School of Art, he was admitted to the ECAL/ University of Art and Design Lausanne and obtained his diploma as a film director in the ‘Cinema – film direction’ department in 2000. The same year, he received a special prize from the jury at the Locarno IFF for his short film La Bouée. Subsequently, Bruno Deville wrote and directed films in various formats. In 2003, he obtained the Grand Prix from the youth jury at the Locarno IFF for his short film Viandes. At present, his latest short documentary film La Boule d'Or is screened at several FFs. He also designed and created video into live performances. Between 2008 to 2012, he wrote and directed a TV series for Swiss Television (RTS) called Crom (in the world of garbage collectors). At the moment he is working on his first long feature.
