Arto Paragamian

Arto Paragamian (born 1965, Montreal)
Graduated from Dawson College with a degree in illustration and design and Concordia University’s film program. At the university he wrote, directed and edited his first two short films. Both of them received the prestigious Norman McLaren Award for best film at the Canadian Student Film Festival in Montreal. In 1988, he was awarded the Mel Hoppenheim prize, given once a year to the student whose work is judged the most outstanding.
