ATCP Films in New York City

ATCP Films in New York City At Hagop Kevorkian Center in New York City, September 23rd, 2001, the filmmaker and New York University alumnus Çanay Özden presented the Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform program which has been carried out since 2008 by Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival and Anadolu Kültür (Turkey). Five joint short films were shot by Armenian and Turk filmmakers. All the ATCP films (featuring Gor Baghdasaryan’s Neighbors, Gülengül Altinaş’s Don’t Get Lost Chidlren, Diana Kardumyan’s Galata, Çanay Özden and Altan Bal’s Puppet Theatre, Artur Sukiasyan’s Master of Doves) were screened at the Hagop Kevorkian Centre and followed by a discussion.
The feedback of the audience was encouraging and inspiring.
It is worth mentioning that the ATCP films had their world premiere at Istanbul International Film Festival, April, 2011 and at Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival, July, 2011.
