Teo Angelopoulos - always in our hearts

Being 77 years old, Teodoros Angelopoulos, a Greek filmmaker, one of the world’s most respected representative of cinema, was killed in an accident at the shooting place. Teo Angelopoulos was an Honorary guest for GOLDEN APRICOT IFF in 2010. During the festival was organized the retrospective of the Maestro’s films and he was awarded by “Parajanov’s Thaler” for his outstanding contribution to world cinema.

The Subsequent Films of Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform

Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform prides itself on producing new films. In October, 2011, Nigol Bezjian’s “A Tour in the Streets of Bolis” and Adrineh Gregorian’s “Back to Gürün” films were shot and currently in the editing stage. Those films will have their world premiere at the 9th Golden Apricot Yerevan Int’l Film Festival.
