Film Project Pitching
Golden Apricot Fund for Cinema Development (GAFCD) is accepting applications for pitching and one-to-one sessions for fiction, documentary and animation films within the frameworks of CREATIVE EUROPE FORUM which will be part of the 14th Golden Apricot IFF on July 12-14, 2017. Eligible are filmmakers (directors, producers, scriptwriters) from Armenia and the Diaspora.

Project Development Workshop

Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform (ATCP), in its 9th year, invites short film and documentary makers from both countries and their Diasporas to apply to the Project Development Workshop. The workshop will be held in Yerevan on 10-11 July, 2017 as a parallel event to 14th Golden Apricot International Film Festival.

Golden Apricot IFF Presents Armenian Cinema in Ankara
Distribution and popularization of Armenian cinema is the main objective of Golden Apricot IFF. During 14 years of Golden Apricot IFF’s history number of special programs, workshops and meetings dedicated to Armenian Cinema were organized in more than 20 countries.

ATCP’s Supported “Mother Derdo And Walnut Tree” Is The Best Documentary In 36th Istanbul
The ATCP Project Development Workshop was held in Istanbul on 10-12 of April, as a parallel event to 36th Istanbul Film Festival. 10 projects - five from Turkey and five from Armenia- were carefully chosen by the Selection Committee to participate in the workshop. At the end of 2 days workshop, the jury decided to give the 7,500 Euros award by the European Union to “Return|, a short fiction about memory and past placed in the skirts of Ararat, by Selman Deniz (director) and Zekeriya Aydoğan (producer).
